See the World's First Railless Train Unveiled in China

The world's first railless train, developed by the CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co. Ltd, was unveiled in Central China's Hunan province on Friday. The 30-meter train, with three carriages, is part of the intelligent rail express system by the developer, and runs on rubber tires rather than rails.
The train can move at a speed of 70 km/h and can carry up to 500 passengers, offering new options for easing modern transport pressures. The train is also powered by electricity and can travel 40km per full charge.

Saudi foreign minister reacts to UN: ‘We don't want to see Yemenis suffer’

Saudi Arabia denies facilitating what the UN calls an “entirely man-made catastrophe” in Yemen, which has killed over 1,000. Saudi Arabia has angrily rejected a UN report condemning its involvement in Yemen’s devastating civil war. In an exclusive interview with Sky News, the country's foreign minister Adel al Jubeir has accused the UN Human Rights Office of bias in compiling the report. Rolls-Royce safeguards 7,000 UK jobs after announcing £150m investment

The investment is the firm's biggest in the UK for more than a decade and is welcomed as a vote of confidence in the economy. Engine maker Rolls-Royce is investing £150m in UK aerospace facilities in a move that will safeguard more than 7,000 jobs. It is the Derby-based group's biggest single investment in the UK for more than a decade. The announcement was welcomed by the Government amid fears that some companies are putting off decisions due to Brexit uncertainty. Rolls-Royce said it was investing over the next few years in new and existing facilities across the East Midlands. It is creating a new facility in Derby for testing large aero engines, resulting in up to 200 jobs, while plans to close a precision machining facility in the town have been scrapped, saving 150 jobs that had previously been at risk.
