The family of an 11-year-old who died on a theme park ride have paid tribute to their "beautiful little girl".
Evha Jannath, from Leicester, fell into water on the river rapids Splash Canyon ride at Drayton Manor Park in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
An investigation is under way into what caused the accident on Tuesday afternoon.
Evha Jannath's headteacher says the whole school is heartbroken
A statement from the family released through Staffordshire Police said: "Yesterday our world was torn apart by the news that our daughter and sister Evha had lost her life in tragic circumstances, following a school trip to Drayton Manor Park.
"Evha was a beautiful little girl who was full of love and always smiling.
"Words cannot describe the pain and loss we feel, we are devastated that we will not see our beautiful little girl again.
"We ask that you allow us to grieve in private and deal with our loss as a family."

"She was a lovely, sweet-natured girl and loved by everyone at the school. We are trying to make sense of this terrible tragedy.

"My heart goes out to the family. The school is not very big so everybody knows each other. It's really sad."
The emergency services were called at 2.18pm and were on the scene within minutes.
Drayton Manor's director, George Bryan, said staff were "immediately on the scene" after the girl fell in.
Appearing visibly shaken, he told reporters: "We're all truly shocked and devastated and our thoughts are with her family and friends at this tremendously difficult time."
Jameah Academy said the school would be closed on Wednesday.

Splash Canyon opened in 1993 and is described as Drayton Manor's "very own river rapids".
The boats have a central circular bar to hold on to, but in online footage the seats do not appear to have any other restraints.
Two similar rides, the Rumba Rapids at Thorpe Park in Surrey and the Congo River Rapids at Alton Towers in Staffordshire, have also been closed while the accident at Drayton Manor is reviewed.
