Ebola epidemic declared after three die in Democratic Republic of Congo

An Ebola epidemic has been declared in the northeast region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The World Health Organisation says three deaths are being linked to the virus.
In a statement, the country's health ministry said that one person has tested positive for the virus after coming down with a haemorrhagic fever in Bas-Uele province last month.

Saudi foreign minister reacts to UN: ‘We don't want to see Yemenis suffer’

Saudi Arabia denies facilitating what the UN calls an “entirely man-made catastrophe” in Yemen, which has killed over 1,000. Saudi Arabia has angrily rejected a UN report condemning its involvement in Yemen’s devastating civil war. In an exclusive interview with Sky News, the country's foreign minister Adel al Jubeir has accused the UN Human Rights Office of bias in compiling the report. The investment is the firm's biggest in the UK for more than a decade and is welcomed as a vote of confidence in the economy. Engine maker Rolls-Royce is investing £150m in UK aerospace facilities in a move that will safeguard more than 7,000 jobs. It is the Derby-based group's biggest single investment in the UK for more than a decade. The announcement was welcomed by the Government amid fears that some companies are putting off decisions due to Brexit uncertainty. Rolls-Royce said it was investing over the next few years in new and existing facilities across the East Midlands. It is creating a new facility in Derby for testing large aero engines, resulting in up to 200 jobs, while plans to close a precision machining facility in the town have been scrapped, saving 150 jobs that had previously been at risk.
