Girl, 6, missing for hours as father's car taken

A six-year-old girl was found wandering the streets hours after her father's car was taken without consent while she was sitting in the back.
Police launched an urgent search for the girl, but it was her grandmother who found her in Leyton, east London, Sky sources understand.
She went missing after her father met an unknown man at the Jet petrol station in Leyton High Road about selling his car at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.
The man jumped into the car and drove away from the east London street with the girl in the back seat.
Police described the man as Asian and in his 30s, with short dark hair and a beard.
A worker at the petrol station said the father was crying and that police were looking at their CCTV footage.
The girl was found at 9pm in the Leyton area.
No arrests have been made.
Police said it was not known how the girl got out of the car.
