Boko Haram Top wanted leader, Pepper, nabbed by Nigeria Army troops

Nigerian troops attached to 233 Battalion, 27 Task Force Brigade of the Nigerian Army, have arrested a wanted Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Adamu AKA "Pepper".
This was announced in a statement signed by Brigadier-General SK Usman, Director of Army Public Relations.
According to the statement, the 35-year old premium terrorist was arrested by troops stationed at 'Forward Operation Base,' in Potiskum, Yobe State.
He was arrested, with the assistance from local vigilantes around New Prison area of Potiskum.
The statement revealed that "Pepper" hails from Yerimara village in Potiskum Local Government Area and has been involved in carrying out attacks and other terror-related activities around the northeastern part of the country."
In a related development, the Army also announced that troops of 231 and 331 Battalions jointly foiled an armed robbery attempt at Chanchara village in Shani Local Government Area, where they recovered an AK-47 rifle, machetes, and ammunition.
